and a couple of shots of the greedy goldfinches in the garden....starting with one taken by my 12 year old daughter who gets the best view of the feeders from her bedroom window, the sunflower hearts are going down very well, having to fill them up every day.....
I feel like I'm not getting out for many good walks lately and hoping to get a good walk in on Friday - up in the Lake District to do the Kentmere Horseshoe, a walk I've not done before so really hoping for good views and great photos!
Your painting of the Jackdaw is beautiful..his feathers so shiny..excellent job. These pictures are really nice of these colorful birds..I'm becoming a bird watcher lately..it seems that there's more of a variety lately.
ReplyDeleteGreat piccies Sharon and lovely Jackdaw. We don't have those where we are so it's a treat to see your painting. Hope you get good weather for your walk.
ReplyDeleteNow, you knew I'd come over for a painting of a blackbird, didn't you? ha ha You have been creating and sharing some beautiful birds - many unusual to me so even more fun to see. I kept thinking your bird paintings would inspire me, but instead I said, "Why should I paint them? I couldn't do as well as Sharon is doing with them so I'll just enjoy her versions!" I know, just an excuse but a pretty good one!
ReplyDeletebeautiful painting and beautiful birds!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAnother excellent painting from you Sharon of the smartest of 'corvids' the Jackdaw.
ReplyDeleteMORE!!
These just get better.
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the black, Sharon! I find it hard to produce good dark colors without turning them to mud. You managed beautifully.
