Hold on to your dreams

At the end of last year I entered a sketchbook competition - there was a judged and a people's vote and I won the judged section with this puffin journal page




I won a lovely little A5 visual journal by Strathmore and made my first entry in it today with this kingfisher sketch  - I added a little quote that I like and may continue adding quotes and poems  that inspire me as I add more sketches to the journal



Hold on to your dreams
for if dreams die
life is a broken winged bird
that cannot fly

    Congratulations an not a surprise that you won, you sketches just keep getting better. Hope you will share some of your pages. Journaling is super but I find it is hard to sustain it for long periods but it is always fun to come back and look at your thoughts and growth. Will also look forward to your deer series.
